What was the first Ghibli film you saw?

Which is your favorite?

The first I ever saw was probably Kiki or Spirited Away. (But Spirited Away was the first one I remembered... I might've been too young when I watched Kiki). Spirited Away is still my favorite to this day, even after I have seen most of the Ghibli library.

My Neighbor Totoro, which probably remains my favorite if I were forced to pick.

Spirited Away and Spirited Away. Though I remember seeing commercials years before that for My Neighbor Totoro and thinking, "I have GOT to see that".

My Neighbor Totoro was actually the first one I saw, and I still like it as a favorite. But really, that's kind of like asking which flavor of ice cream is your favorite, when they're all variations on that flavor.
